Campaign, Squads and co-op modes

Choose a map reward that solves your current weakness

The short answer

In Tape to Tape, choose a campaign route by the problem your lineup needs to solve. Training can improve attributes, a Challenge can offer an immediately useful effect, and a Free Agent can fill a missing role. Read the particular encounter's objective, recipient and reward before treating its map category as the answer.

There is no verified universal order of Training, Challenge and recruitment. The useful comparison is what each available option would change for this team before the next demanding match.

Describe the gap before comparing offers

These are decision prompts, not an instruction to choose a particular node every run. For example, another improvement to a player you rarely use may matter less than a recruit who supplies something the active lineup lacks. Conversely, a recruit who duplicates your current strengths may leave the original weakness untouched.

Your observationOffer worth examining
A suitable player needs a better attributeTraining that targets the relevant player or team and attribute.
A current skater can use a particular effect nowA Challenge displaying that useful reward and an achievable objective.
Nobody in the lineup fills a needed roleA Free Agent whose actual attributes and effects fit that role.

Check both the task and the recipient

  1. Inspect the route choices currently offered and name the lineup problem you are addressing.
  2. Read the selected encounter's win or challenge condition before entering; do not substitute an ordinary match win for a separately stated objective.
  3. Compare the displayed reward with the player or role that would use it.
  4. When asked to choose a recipient, confirm the intended skater rather than automatically selecting the highest OVR.
  5. Afterward, inspect the resulting lineup and decide whether the original gap remains before planning the next branch.

An encounter label does not promise a team upgrade

The existing Training guide covers the difference between individual and whole-team offers. Use that scope when judging the current reward: an improvement to one reserve is a different proposition from an improvement your active team can use now.

Our practical check is to explain your choice in one sentence: this offer helps this role for this reason. If the explanation only repeats the largest number, compare the other route again. That check makes your decision reviewable without inventing an optimal build or reward probability.

Keep different Infirmary offers separate

The official site describes sacrificing a player at the Infirmary. The Boring Dude source separately reports a one-talent-for-two exchange. These are not interchangeable instructions or proof that every Infirmary visit presents both choices. Inspect the actual offer before committing; this page is not an instruction to remove a player.

Check the result

You choose an available reward for a named lineup need and verify the actual recipient or recruit afterward.
