Tape to Tape guides for your next play
Getting stopped by the goalie or caught by a cross-ice pass in Tape to Tape? Start with the action you want to improve: pass into a shot, protect a dangerous lane, or choose a Squad for your next run.
Each guide separates the action from the result. A shot can be executed and still be saved; a useful player report is not a promise that every Squad or difficulty behaves the same way.

- Modes and platforms: select a short match, adjust the correct difficulty or check Switch 2 compatibility.
- Help and fixes: recover a stuck tutorial, refresh a controller binding or identify an old Steam build.
- Modes and platforms also distinguishes a human goalie role from watching two CPU teams.
Choose one decision to work on
- On the ice: work on pass-to-shot execution and keeping a defender in the dangerous lane.
- Campaign & modes: choose a current Squad, understand Training offers and progression, or set up cooperative play with friends.
Start from the 1.0 rules
Version 1.0 rebuilt the campaign and changed controls, goalies and AI. CS13985, published October 24, 2026, also changed default Squad availability. An older unlock route or permanent-upgrade plan may no longer describe your game.
Our guides cite official notices and named community reports. We have not independently played through the reported routes. Where the source does not establish a button, menu path or Squad, the guide keeps that limit visible.
