Use the rules of the Squad you selected

Turn a Trio passing sequence into two recorded assists

The short answer

Tape to Tape's Trio Squad has three skaters. Its current guide describes a +2 Team OVR benefit for a goal assisted by both teammates. Plan the possession so two players help create the third player's finish, then verify both assists in the scoring details. Three players touching the puck is not automatically proof that both assists registered.

Name the carrier, link and finisher

Use A, B and C as temporary roles for your three actual skaters, not controller buttons. A advances possession, B provides the connecting pass and C is the intended scorer. These roles organize the attempt; they are not a required formation or a guarantee that a particular route stays open. Follow an open lane rather than forcing that sequence.

Complete the sequence, then inspect the record

  1. Note the current Team OVR and identify your three players before attempting the scoring condition.
  2. Use A to advance the puck toward a useful passing opportunity.
  3. Involve B as the intermediate teammate, then look for C's finishing chance.
  4. After a goal, inspect the scoring details for assists by both teammates; do not infer them from remembered touches alone.
  5. Compare Team OVR with the earlier value to check the reported +2 result. If the attempt fails, recover possession before forcing another sequence.

A useful goal and a qualifying goal can differ

If only one assist is recorded, the goal can still help the match while leaving this specific condition unmet. This guide does not invent assist-expiry timing, a touch counter or another hidden eligibility rule. Keep the actual scoring record when comparing an unexpected result.

With only three skaters, a failed pass can also leave little coverage. Before the next attempt, identify who can recover the puck instead of pulling every player toward the finish. The separate one-timer guide addresses shot execution; it does not establish both Trio assists.

Check the result

A goal records assists from both teammates, and you check the source-described +2 Team OVR result.
